If you don’t know what soft keys are, take a look at the picture below. Soft Keys were introduced in android with the first Android 4.0 (aka Ice Cream Sandwich)

Back in November Google announced a new way to test drive applications before installing them to your mobile device. All you need to do is perform a Google search for the app on your smartphone, click on the app listing in the search result, and you’ll be able to ‘stream’ it without having to install it. Today Google has announced
 it’s doing something similar for Android games.
Users will be able to test drive games from mobile search results through a new ad format called Search Trial Run Ads. If you’re on a steady Wi-Fi connection and perform a Google search for a certain Android game, you’ll be able to click on the try now button next to the install button. Once the game starts up, you can play it for up to 10 minutes just like you would if it were installed on your device. If you decide the game is worth a download, just click on the Google button in the lower left corner and install it from there. It’s really that easy.
This is beneficial to everyone involved for obvious reasons. Users will get to experience the game first-hand without having to install it, test it out and uninstall it if the game doesn’t interest them. This new method will also bring in more users to developers’ games that are more likely to stick around after installing the game. Check out the graphic to see the new advertisement in action.


Google has also announced that thanks to the Video Recording API, users will soon be able to live stream gameplay in real time to YouTube. Back in October the company announced that Play Games would allow users to upload gameplay after the fact, but now a livestream option has been added. Google says this new live-streaming to YouTube feature will begin rolling out in the coming months.
In addition, Google will soon be introducing portrait video advertisements so users won’t have to rotate their phones to see an ad if they’re playing a game with their devices held vertically. Google will also be introducing a new method for deploying advertisements to users who have been playing games for a certain amount of time.
These new advertisement options should be rolling out within the next couple weeks. I’ve already been able to livestream Panda Pop (like in the gif shown above), so give it a try if you’re connected to Wi-Fi!

some of us might have installed some security apps to set up extra security for our device, but somehow you might have forgotten the password you used but the lockscreen wont go away. here is a simple trick you can try.


NOTE: this might not work on all devices, as device makers have different ways of making their devices.

Boot into Safe Mode to Bypass Third-Party Lock Screen


For most phones, you can boot into safe mode by bringing up the power menu from the lock screen, then long-pressing the "Power off" option. From here, choose "OK" when asked if you'd like to boot into safe mode, and when the process finishes, your third-party lock screen app will be temporarily disabled. From here, simply clear data on the third-party lock screen app or uninstall it, then reboot your phone to get back out of safe mode. When you get back up, the troublesome lock screen app should be gone.

Google's youtube Red is an awesome service, particularly in the United States where it comes bundled with a subscription to google play music. You don't have to worry about ever seeing ads again on any videos, you can continue playback after you exit the YouTube app or even when you turn your screen off, you can download videos for offline playback, and you'll have access to youtube music.
But the Play Music bundle isn't available in most other countries, and for a lot of folks, YouTube Red's $10/month price tag is a bit too steep. Luckily though, a new xposed module can actually trick the YouTube app into thinking you're a Red subscriber, which means you can get ad-free, offline mode playback on any device.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • ROOTED ANDROID DEVICE
  • XPOSED FRAMEWORK INSTALLED
  • "UNKNOWN SOURCES" ENABLED

Step 1: Install YouTube Background Playback


To begin, head to the Download section in your Xposed Installer app and search YouTube Background Playback, then tap the top result. From here, swipe over to the Versions tab, then hit the "Download" button next to the most recent entry. Within a few seconds, Android's installer interface should pop up, so tap "Install" on this screen.
When that's finished, you'll get a notification from Xposed telling you that the module hasn't been activated yet and that a reboot is needed. So make sure to activate the module and reboot, then you are good to go.


Step 2: Play YouTube Videos in the Background with No Ads


When you get back up, no further setup is required. From now on, whenever you're playing a YouTube video, you'll notice that there aren't any ads. On top of that, if you hit your home button, audio playback will continue in the background, and you'll see a notification that says you can even play videos with the screen off thanks to your quote-unquote "YouTube Red" subscription.

Make sure to check the Download section of the Xposed Installer app often to stay current with updates to this module. In all likelihood, when Google updates the YouTube app, the module will need to be updated as well.
